Yoga Bolster

This bolster does not disappoint. Squishes just the right amount, stays firm and I *love* the handle on the side. It's precisely the kind recommended in Iyengar's books, too. I've had the two I've bought for about a year and have returned to buy more as gifts! YogaAccessories (TM) Supportive Round Cotton Yoga Bolster - Maroon

I bought this bolster to go with the vinyasa dvd I purchased. There were many poses that required a bolster. I did a ton of research and found that this bolster from yoga accessories was priced the best and when I received it I was so happy that the quality was the best too. I can't imagine doing a vinyasa class without it and Yoga Accessories certainly offers the best prices and quality.

This product is exactly the same as more expensive bolsters, but at nearly half the cost. For anyone considering buying a round cotton yoga bolster, strongly consider buying this one, before spending an additional $30, 40 or even $50 on another product with a "brand name".

Received bolster, however, when I took off the cover to wash the stitching pulled in the zipper area. Had to hand sew the stitching.

For over $40 should be better quality. Only reason why I'm not returning is due to hassle of shipping the item.

Probably the reason why the stitching rips off. Disappointed.

The actual bolster is fine. However the cover is rather a tight fit. I noticed this when I removed it for washing. I washed it in cold water and I am guessing it must have shrunk a little because when we tried to put it back on the bolster, the fabric tore and the zipper came off. I've ordered a replacement cover ... because the bolster is only a month old. I guess I will simply just have to keep wiping it down rather than removing it to wash it ... ugh

I'm extremely pleased by these bolsters in navy. They are sturdy, have no odor, and looking at the stitching, I think it will last. I've only used them lightly so far (once a week for a month). An improvement would be a softer fabric but, I'd rather pay $29 than $59 (which is what I paid for a similar bolster with a softer fabric). As for colors, I did send back the purple and the maroon. Each were sturdy like the navy but, the purple was garish and the maroon looked more like rust to me. The navy is boring but, inoffensive. The price on these has crept up to $33 but, I think I'll still buy more because I can't find a better deal on something solidly built and not ugly.

This is much wider in diameter than I thought, but it feels good when I lay on it... firm and soft at the same time. It is starting to flatten, less of a circle, more of a square. Not sure if that's typical for bolsters.'
