Bostitch Nail Gun - bostitch, bostitch nail gun
After disassembling the framing nailer, it was obvious that all the o-rings were intact and that the plastic trigger valve was the weak link in the gun. The kit installed easily, and with newly lubed o-rings the nailer is like a brand new tool. The symptom of a bad trigger valve is a constant leak of air when the gun is plugged into the air hose. This part was backordered at the official Bostitch replacement parts website. Buy it here, save money, and get back to work. Bostitch TVA11 Trigger Valve Kit
Purchased an N80SB 11/1999, used heavily for a year, occasionally since then. Trigger valve had intermittent problems recently, started hissing 06/2011. Parts List specifies "TVA1 Kit, Trigger Valve". The TVA11 kit instructions were easy to understand, kit was easy to install, nailer works perfectly now.
Nail gun was leaking air and would not retract the driving mechanism. This replacement part looks to be of an improved design. It was easy to replace, came with clear instructions, and a drift to remove pins that secure the trigger and valve.
My Bostitch framing nailing had an air leak at the trigger valve.I had know idea how to fix it,almost bought a new one.I went on You Tube and they had a video on how to repair a trigger valve. Then I found the part on Amazon and ordered it.The valve came with good instructions, grease for the o-rings and a punch to knock the pins out. This was a very simple repair.this trigger valve was made a little different from the one I had . I put it in and it worked. - Bostitch - Bostitch Nail Gun - Works Great - Nail Gun'
