I just purchased a couple more packs of these yet again for my summer classes, and I have to say, the quality is exactly as it's always been - phenomenal. I'm currently a college senior, and these pocket dividers are my top must-have item for every class I take, right behind my livescribe notebooks. They make organization incredibly easy and simple, I'm never scrambling to find my syllabus or my labs or any other charts or diagrams I need. It's always just right at my fingertips. Whether you're in high school or college or beyond, you will not be sorry purchasing these! I wish I had been able to find them in high school, they are INFINITELY better than the standard paper dividers with the color tabs. I love Avery products, they definitely represent a brand of quality when it comes to office supplies, but hands down these are one of my favorite. Thanks Amazon for supplying a great product! I bought these for my work binder (I'm in customer service and have very strict standards on the info I give out to customers). I love that the plastic will not break around the holes. These last a LONG time, very well-made. I also like the pockets- assignments due in front, assignments finished in back. Only caveat on the divider are the small, dark label tabs. Even so, my co-workers stare enviously at my well-organized binder as they beg me to find information they can't locate themselves. This makes my life a lot easier and makes me look like a pro at my job, so I'm happy.
I have previously purchased Avery's Big Tab 8-tab dividers and thought that I'd purchase another set. I feel like the my older ones were made of a better quality. Also, these lacked the many holes for the different types of binders that the older ones had.
I recently started couponing on a large scale and needed something to put my coupons in to keep them organized. I decieded to go was a binder and these inserts for the smaller coupons. They have so far worked out perfectly for me.
The delivery was quick (standard shipping) and the charge was exactly as I ordered.
The quality of the product is good enough for me frequently sliding fingers in to get coupons in and our of the openings. And I am yet to have one fail...
I bought this for my school binder which I use for a few subjects. Now normally I would stick all my papers into the side pockets of the binder or just place them in the binder without using the rings -- I'm just too lazy to punch holes in the papers and put them in the rings. All my papers from all my classes would be mixed together into one pile in the binder. No need to say how difficult and time-consuming it was to find something.
With these dividers, I am able to use a couple of dividers for each subject, and place recent assignments in one divider and important and often-used papers in the other -- all without punching holes in the papers! These dividers are MUCH more durable than paper dividers and are of great quality. The dividers stay clean while paper dividers would pick up pencil marks from the papers, although the plastic on these attracts a bit of dust and starts to dull in spots after a while due to contact with other objects.
While the "big tabs" are good if you write a lot on the labels, they stick out even when the binder is closed, at least with binders with rings attached to the back instead of the spine. I wish the pockets could hold more paper, but I realize the limitations of a product that is supposed to be a thin divider -- maybe make expanding pockets??? Of course this may not be a problem to others as they will have other uses for the pockets that won't require a large capacity.
Overall, this is a great product that has helped me keep my papers organized. Since my first purchase, I had bought a few more sets for use in other binders and so I can use multiple sets in one binder for more storage. This product is a must-have for binders if you need to keep unpunched papers in check and stay organized.
As far as dividers go there isn't too much in the way of excitement. However this is a great product. I have purchased these for work as well as my children who are in high school. I find that they not only divide your papers but also give you a pocket to put your "extras" into. Great for office needs,school papers, and coupons too for us avid couponers..
I bought these for the book at my workplace where we track reservations and van runs because the older ones we had were just getting too old to stay in the book. They were basic plastic sheets with holes in them and were of average construction.
I pretty much bought this I'll admit to fill out an order to get the Super Saver Shipping, but I'm glad I did. These are made of nice thick plastic which holds up very well, and the pockets are roomy enough to fit in printed maps and other items into the dividers. Avery was also nice enough to include a perforated template sheet of paper where you can put in each divider name into a Microsoft Word template, print it out and have cleanly-typed names rather than having to struggle to write a tiny label.
Very good product and stands up to abuse, definitely buy this if you're looking for a good tab divider for a notebook or any other kind of project.'
