I have a large feet (size 12 women). When I try on a 12 women sneaker it normally doesn't fit well or a little too short. I will purchase a men sneaker instead. This sneaker fit very well, I highly recommend it and it is true to size. These shoes are light weight and feels good when I walk. Well made. I've worn Easy Spirit shoes for years but I do believe these are the most comfortable I have ever owned. Perfect right out of the box. The free shipping and fantastic price from Amazon didn't hurt either! Highly recommend.
I walk for exercise 4-5 times a week and this is my shoe of choice. I keep re-buying Punter because it is comfortable, fits well and wears well. I wear an 8-81/2 in most shoes but always buy a 9 in athletic shoes and these are no different. I can use a thick sock and still have room in the toe box for my foot to expand during warmer weather. I never have to break them in--they're good for a long, fast walk right out of the box.
I purchased these as a birthday gift for my mother-in-law after she heard my wife talking about how great they were. The price on Amazon was 10 dollars cheaper than what they sell them for locally. My mother-in-law loves the shoes! She uses them when she takes her walk in the morning and said they are very, very comfortable. She highly recommends them.
I have arthritis in both knees and one ankle, yet I love to walk. I have repeatedly bought these shoes because they give me the most comfort and mobility. I have tried other walking shoes, but always come back to this brand. Amazon has, by far, the best price on these shoes, and I was delighted that they carry them.

ES Punter is, by far, the most comfortable, embracing, walk-all-day, shoe I've ever had! When I found out that this style was no longer being made, I ordered these two pair. I'm sorry these will no longer be available and am glad I found them on Amazon! And I'm not "James"...I'm the wife!
I have had these Easy Spirits before and they fit me great. I have a narrow heal and want plenty of toe room and these walking shoes fit the bill.
