It's a typical sewing pattern with good instructions. Like all sports jackets it's a little difficult, but if you read the instructions it's quite doable. I was very pleased. It's expensive to purchase such a jacket already made. If you can sew and you want one of the prince charlie jackets then this is your pattern. As far as I know very few pattern designers sell patterns for men and this is the only prince charlie jacket I ever saw! The pattern arrived in a timely fashion. Some of the instructions were a bit confusing to follow, but we were able to work it out with some thought and failed attempts. The final product turned out beautifully. We only made the woman's kilted skirt. The pattern for the PC looked to be complete - Scotland'
